Homoclinic and ground state solutions of partial difference equations with parametric potentials

The aim of this paper is to study a class of partial difference equations involving parametric potential which may change sign. We establish results on the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial homoclinic solutions and ground state solutions when the nonlinearity satisfies the general superlinearity assumption. The results are proved by using a variational technique coupled with critical point theorems.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study a class of partial difference equations involving parametric potential which may change sign. We establish results on the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial homoclinic solutions and ground state solutions when the nonlinearity satisfies the general superlinearity assumption. The results are proved by using a variational technique coupled with critical point theorems.
