FORMATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL COMPETENCE IN FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF TECHNOLOGICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION WHEN STUDYING MODERN PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES

The article considers the problem of forming environmental competence of future specialists of technological and vocational education when studying modern production technologies. The relevance of integrating the environmental component into professional training is substantiated, taking into account global challenges related to environmental pollution, resource conservation and the implementation of sustainable development principles. The emphasis is on the need to update the content of curricula, expand environmental modules in professional disciplines and implement methods for assessing environmental competence. The analysis of scientific research shows that the effective formation of environmental competence requires the implementation of problem-oriented and project-based learning, digital modeling of environmental processes, assessment of the life cycle of materials and the implementation of the principles of the circular economy. Special attention is paid to the use of artificial intelligence technologies to optimize production processes, 3D printing of environmentally friendly materials, eco-design and environmental certification of products. It was concluded that increasing the environmental competence of future specialists will contribute to their readiness to implement environmentally safe technologies, assess environmental risks, and make responsible decisions, which will ensure the sustainable development of technological production.
