Abstract

In the article, the authors reveal the present of Ukrainian education, which is undergoing major changes. The initiative of the "New Ukrainian School" requires us to rethink educational approaches. The desire to create an educational environment in which students not only memorize facts, but also develop a deep understanding of topics, learn to think critically and creatively approach problems. At the current stage of education development, the main goal of secondary general education schools is to increase the active participation of students in the educational and cognitive process. The development of students' educational activity is achieved by their desire to master the educational material, increasing intellectual efforts and the manifestation of moral and volitional qualities. This approach is focused on organizing the educational process, which contributes to the development of initiative and independence of students, as well as on deep assimilation and understanding of the material, which constitutes the bulk of skills. Based on this, the use of pedagogical research consists in the development of effective didactic systems that not only ensure the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities, but also create conditions for the development of a socially active, independent and creative personality, which corresponds to the formation of the necessary competencies.
