RESULTS OF CRITICAL ANALYSIS AND GENERALISATION OF SOFTWARE TOOLS FOR CONFIGURATION AND MONITORING OF PARAMETERS OF ELECTRIC MACHINES WITH ROTATING MAGNETIC FIELD
Asynchronous machines are the most frequently used type of electric machines in many industrial applications due to their simple structure, robustness, and low manufacturing cost. To bypass the issue of low efficiency in the part-loaded mode of operation, a generous number of energy-efficient control strategies have been developed. The aim of the research is to substantiate the directions of perspective research on the development and validation of algorithms for energy-efficient control of electric machines with a rotating magnetic field based on critical analysis and logical generalization of the known software tools for their configuration and testing. The research is done with an extensive online exploration of available help documentation for various variable frequency drives and their accompanying software suites. The key scientific and practical outcomes of the article are as follows: the main criteria for selecting software for configuring and monitoring the parameters of electric machines with a rotating magnetic field are defined and detailed; the requirements for the software functionality for configuring and monitoring the parameters of electric machines have been substantiated; the main directions of prospective research aimed at developing the known methods of energy-efficient control of electric rotating field machines have been substantiated. Keywords: electric machines, software, energy-efficient control, monitoring, configuration, analysis, generalisation.
