Representações da África colonial no panorama: Revista Portuguesa de Arte e Turismo (1941-1944)
The aim of this study is to analyse five texts by Portuguese authors that deal with representations of African populations colonised by Portugal, as well as an advertisement for colonial coffee, all of which were published in Panorama: a Portuguese art and tourism magazine, between 1941 and 1944, in the context of Salazar's Estado Novo. The magazine Panorama was a publication of the SPN, charged, among other things, with promoting tourism as a form of propaganda for the Salazar regime, and to this end it had the collaboration of Portuguese writers, artists and essayists.
