CONCEPÇÃO DE UM DISPOSITIVO DE CONTENÇÃO PARA A SONDA CME-550X

ABSTRACT The inspection actions carried out by regulatory bodies have become more frequent in order to ensure that companies comply with NR 12. The most common penalties are fines, whose amounts are proportional to the risk level associated with non-compliant machinery. Focusing on worker protection, equipment and machines that contain hazardous zones must be equipped with safety systems. Among these systems, fixed guards — such as containment devices — stand out. This study proposes the development of a containment device for the CME-550X drilling rig, aiming to ensure its compliance with NR 12. To verify that the design meets the regulatory requirements, it is necessary to perform static load tests in both horizontal and vertical directions. The results must demonstrate that the material does not exceed its yield strength and that deformations remain within the established limits. To assess whether the structure complies with the requirements of NBR ISO 14120:2014, the two most critical components of the containment system were selected for finite element structural analysis using simulation software. The structure’s design, material, and dimensions were defined to ensure that the proposed solution meets both the coverage of hazardous zones and the mechanical demands required by the standard. The results confirm that the structure can withstand the expected loads, thus fulfilling the safety and performance criteria established by current technical regulations. Abstract
