Cross-dehydrogenative radical coupling enabled by K 2 S 2 O 8 : efficient synthesis of 2,3-dicarbonyl quinolines from enaminones and glycine derivatives
A K 2 S 2 O 8 -mediated cross-coupling reaction between N,N-dimethyl enaminones and glycines is reported. It proceeds via single-electron transfer, enables one-step synthesis of 2,3-dicarbonylquinolines, and paves the way for their future applications.
