A study on static charged wormhole

This work studies the existence of charged wormhole solutions to the Einstein–Maxwell equations with anisotropic fluid at the matter source and examines the effects of charge on traversable wormhole structure. Some new shape functions are obtained using equation of state [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text]) and [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text]). Both time-like and null geodesics are studied in these wormhole geometries. Finally, energy conditions are examined graphically for two different models, and it is found that most of the energy conditions are satisfied near the throat.

Abstract

This work studies the existence of charged wormhole solutions to the Einstein–Maxwell equations with anisotropic fluid at the matter source and examines the effects of charge on traversable wormhole structure. Some new shape functions are obtained using equation of state [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text]) and [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text]). Both time-like and null geodesics are studied in these wormhole geometries. Finally, energy conditions are examined graphically for two different models, and it is found that most of the energy conditions are satisfied near the throat.
