Harmonization of national legislation regarding public procurement with EU directives, in the contextof ensuring economic security, throgh increased transparncy of public procurement

The actuality of the subject. This article discusses the main changes necessary to Law no. 131 of 03.07.2015 regarding public procurement based on the EU Association Agreement. The paper analyzes the objectives of developing and improving the sustainable public procurement process. Next, is presented the definition of economic security, in the field of public procurement and the degree of influence of legislative changes on the economic security of the procurement system is revealed, by increasing transparency. The research topic focuses on ensuring the economic security and transparency of the public procurement process in the context of the harmonization of the legislation of the Republic of Moldova with the EU Directives.
