ANALYSIS OF NEW DIRECTIONS IN DIVERSIFICATION OF INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS UNDER FINANCIAL INSTABILITY
The article examines unconventional approaches to diversification of investment portfolios during periods of economic instability. The main factors limiting the effectiveness of classical diversification models in modern conditions are identified. The necessity of applying a multi-level approach to portfolio formation is substantiated, taking into account the emergence of new asset classes and hedging instruments. Based on empirical analysis and mathematical modeling, the effectiveness of methods such as inclusion of alternative assets, use of strategic derivatives, adaptive capital allocation, and application of countercyclical investment strategies is evaluated. A conceptual model of dynamic diversification is proposed, which accounts for market uncertainty factors and the volatility of financial processes. The research findings have practical significance for institutional and private investors operating in conditions of heightened market volatility.
