Advance Smart Cam PIR Surveillance
In today's technological world, security is a big concern in places like homes, warehouses, and restricted areas where quick actions are required to stop unwanted access. Many current systems do not alert quickly enough or cannot identify exactly what kind of threat is present. To overcome this problem, we created the Advance Smart Cam PIR Surveillance system, which combines motion detection, real-time audio alerts, and smart object recognition to improve security in various fields. This system includes a motion sensor (PIR) that detects movement and sends an immediate alert to the user's smartphone through a SIM800L GSM module. At the same time, the microphone captures sounds, and the ESP32-CAM records video while identifying objects in view. The system can also differentiate between humans and animals. Video frames are processed using OpenCV, while Cvlib's AI model identifies and classifies objects, helping to differentiate between humans and animals. To increase processing speed, we are using multiprocessing, which allows the system to utilize multiple CPU cores simultaneously. The development and testing were performed in PyCharm, as this setup provides fast and reliable alerts to support security in different environments.
