An Overview for Detection of Plastic Waste Pollution in Marine Environment
Human-generated waste is commonly thrown into natural marine environments such as rivers and seas. Identifying marine waste in rivers and seas is crucial for addressing and mitigating its influence on the environment. Manually analyzing the quantity of waste in the oceans is challenging, time-consuming, and has limited geographical coverage. The rising manufacture of throwaway plastic items significantly complicates marine pollution and adversely affects marine ecosystems and species that use oceanic food sources. And the animals are in danger from the globalization of marine litter. In the context of this environmental catastrophe. The paper reviews plastic waste pollution in marine environments together with an examination of different marine waste types. A comparative study presents analyses based on research objectives and dataset utilization and methods with algorithms as well as examination of limitations and effects of plastic waste pollution in marine environments and future directions and challenges. This review collections information from over twenty papers included and all the papers were indexed by Scopus and WOS journals and conferences.
