Smart Charging Solution from Hybrid Energy System Using CUK Converter

This project aims at the design of a versatile smart charging solution based on a hybrid renewable energy system, including solar and wind energy sources. Cuk converters are used in the system to enable efficient photovoltaic (PV) charging, optimizing energy conversion and storage processes. For advanced control and management, an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is implemented to regulate energy flow intelligently, thus increasing the overall efficiency and reliability of renewable energy generation. The Cuk converter is a key component of the system that allows the DC voltage from solar panels and wind turbines to be stepped up or down efficiently. This makes the system compatible with battery systems and electronic devices while minimizing energy losses. With its high efficiency and ability to handle fluctuating input voltage ranges-typical of such renewable energy sources-the Cuk converter is critical for stable and smooth operation. The system includes a charge controller to manage charging, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable power distribution. This hybrid renewable energy system meets its goals by maximizing energy utilization and improving grid stability by providing a reliable source of power. This innovative approach enables a sustainable future energy landscape by promoting the efficient use of renewable energy resources.
