SEPIC Based Power Factor Correction for BLDC Motor Drive

This article proposes a power factor correction (PFC)-based Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motor drive. A diode bridge rectifier with a high capacitance value is in general linked to the BLDC motor drives, resulting in a low power factor. The suggested strategy seeks to successfully address this problem. The employment of power Factor correctionwithin the power provide to maximise power from mains electricity and the single-ended primary-inductor converter (SEPIC) is employed for the ability issue correction. For increasing energy potency and to scale back electricity value power issue correction is critical In this project, we would like to implement sensing element speed detection and power issue correction in BLDC motor in MATLAB simulation platform.
