Secure Swipe Fortifying Transactions with ATM Technology

Traditional banking systems often necessitate physical visits for transactions, which pose risks and are inconvenient. This work proposes a secure and convenient solution for remote banking transactions. It is done by combining biometric authentication methods such as fingerprint recognition and facial recognition, thereby ensuring that heightened transaction security is realized. The ATM card embedded with biometric data is unique to each account holder. For every transaction, one-time passwords are generated to validate the user accounts. After three successive incorrect login attempts, strict transaction restriction is applied to prevent unauthorized users. The proposed system will modernize the provision of banking services, as it offers a convenient alternative to physically visiting banks and safety, user experience and fraud prevention are enhanced.
