FitMirror: An Artificial Intelligence Mirror System for Elderly Physical Fitness Diagnosis
This paper proposes a mirror-based artificial intelligence physical fitness motion detection system, called FitMirror, designed for assessing the physical fitness of the elderly. In addition to assisting fitness coaches or physical therapists in automatically tracking the number of movements completed by the elderly during fitness exercises, FitMirror can also identify the angle changes between joints in each fitness movement. Experimental results demonstrate that FitMirror effectively recognizes and evaluates fitness activities, making it a reliable tool for diagnosing the fitness levels of the elderly in fitness centers or rehabilitation institutions.
