Implementation of Broadband Sine Wave Current Power Supply by Using GaN Device
This paper utilizes the fast-switching characteristics of Gallium Nitride (GaN) devices to design a broadband low harmonic sine wave power converter capable of modulating a stable sine wave current from 10 mHz to 30 kHz. The system further adopts a three-phase interleaved synchronous buck converter architecture, with a switching frequency reaching 1 MHz, effectively enhancing the inductor current characteristics and significantly reducing the inductor ripple current. Finally, by measuring the small signal ac voltage and current of a lithium-ion battery, the impedance magnitude and phase at a given frequency can be derived based on Ohm's law, thereby enabling real-time online electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurement.
