Decision and Investigation of Validity of Tidy-Up Sensuality Indicator for Shelf

The state of tidy-up, such as in item storage, is often evaluated qualitatively or subjectively. Previous researchers have proposed tidy-up indicators that assess the state of tidy-up by dividing it into sensuality (appearance) and functionality (user interface). In this research, we applied the tidy-up indicators to item storage shelves to evaluate the validity of the tidy-up indicators for these shelves. We conducted experiments comparing the sensuality index with subjective impressions and determined the standards and evaluation formulas for the sensuality index.
