Leveraging Models to Support Stakeholder Communication

This study introduces an approach to address challenges in communication and collaboration within complex multidisciplinary projects. It focuses on a combined component and functional architectural viewpoint to enhance stakeholders' system awareness and align project understanding. The approach extends Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) frameworks to support communication. An open-source toolkit has been developed to facilitate its adoption. An industrial use case is provided to demonstrate its applicability. Expert feedback confirms its potential to improve system information sharing among stakeholders.
