Extended Cloud Storage Security Using Hybrid Cryptography
In modern cloud storage systems, ensuring data confidentiality, scalability, and performance is critical. This research proposes a hybrid solution combining Blowfish encryption and tokenization to enhance security and efficiency. Tokenization replaces sensitive data with format-preserving tokens, minimizing exposure while preserving usability. Blowfish encryption then secures the tokenized data with high-speed, low-overhead symmetric encryption. Together, these methods optimize encryption speed, throughput, and resource utilization. The dual-layer approach improves scalability and performance, making it a robust solution for real-time data protection in large-scale cloud environments.
