Synergistic effects of red- and blue-shifting hydrogen bonds in CL-20 host–guest systems: counteracting hyperconjugation to enhance stability

We propose a cooperative mechanism between blue- and red-shifting hydrogen bonds that modulate intramolecular electron redistribution by disrupting hyperconjugation, thereby enhancing the stability of trigger bonds in CL-20 host–guest systems.
