Acceleration Postpartum (ACCEL-PP): A Pilot Feasibility Study
Women who develop cardiometabolic conditions during pregnancy, including hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) and/or gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) have a three- to fourfold greater risk of future cardiovascular disease (CVD) within the first decade after pregnancy. In this pilot study we examined the feasibility of a 12-week virtual behaviour change intervention in postpartum women who have experienced a cardiometabolic condition of pregnancy.
