The Association Between Duration of Menopausal Hormone Therapy and Cardiovascular Health
Three-quarters of menopausal individuals experience vasomotor symptoms, lasting for an average of 7.4 years. Menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) is an effective therapy, but whether duration of use impacts cardiovascular health remains unclear. The objective of this study was to estimate the association between the duration of MHT use and intermediate cardiovascular outcomes, including blood pressure and arterial stiffness, in healthy postmenopausal individuals.
