Guanidine-based dual-responsive ‘turn on’ fluorometric probes for the selective detection of Zn2+ cations and F− anions: spectral and theoretical investigations, smartphone assisted colorimetric detection, and applications in bi
Two guanidine-based fluorometric probes showed ‘turn on’ responses to Zn 2+ and F − ions. The bio-imaging studies showed Zn 2+ accumulation in the head region of A. salina . The probes exhibited INHIBIT logic gate behaviour with Zn 2+ and EDTA.
