Being, time and space: Existential consciousness that shapes the world

Humanity’s fundamental inquiry throughout history has been the question of existence, distilled into the question: “Who am I?” This fundamental question rooted in human consciousness is grounded in three parameters: being, time, and space, whereby time and space provide the ontological context for human existence. These existential concerns have shaped the Muslim world, including Turkiye. A comprehensive understanding of geopolitical dynamics necessitates a nation to reflect on its philosophical, historical, and spatial consciousness of self-perception. Without an appreciation of Islamic history—tracing from the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w to the present and even back to the time of Prophet Adam a.s—one cannot deeply understand and effectively apply geopolitics.
