Establishing a Lead Dose-Response Model to Develop Protocol for Future Microbiome Research in C. elegans Populated With Diverse Gut Microbiota

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to establish an appropriate lead dose-response model to assess the toxic effects of lead on C. elegans growth and survival, using worms populated with a diverse microbiota through a human fecal transplant, as a foundation for future microbiome research focused on changes in diversity using 16 S rRNA sequencing.
