Normal Weight Obesity Is Associated With Serum Lipid, Hormone, and Liver Enzyme Differences in the UK Biobank Cohort
N1,052) and tirzepatide were compared (N1,050), there was no significant difference on 1-year mortality (HR: 0.99, 95% CI: [0.617,1.587],p0.9669) nor 1-year risk for HF exacerbation (HR: 0.904, 95% CI: [0.814, 1.005], p0.0626).Conclusions: Our results suggest semaglutide and tirzepatide may be superior to liraglutide in patients with obesity-related HFpEF.Moreover, we found no significant differences between semaglutide and tirzepatide with regard to 1-year all-cause mortality and risk for HF exacerbation.Future head-to-head randomized controlled studies comparing incretin-mimetic drugs in patients with obesity-related HfpEF are warranted.
