Cultivation of Pleurotus Sajor-Caju (Fr.) Singer and Pleurotus Florida (Mont.) Singer on Saccharum Officinarum L. Substrate
Present investigation was undertaken to confirm suitability of Saccharum officinarum as a substrate for cultivation of oyster mushrooms -Pleurotus Sajor kaju and Pleurotus florida. P. Sajor kaju gave higher mushroom yield as compared to that obtained from P. florida when those were grown on agricultural wastes of Saccharum officinaurm
