STUDY OF TOLERANCE WITHIN THE LIMITS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING
This study explored tolerance manifestations in psychological counseling. Dialogical thinking is examined as a property of a tolerant personal position in understanding another's psychological state. Self-disclosure and self-analysis are crucial for effective interactions between psychologists and clients. The main stages of forming tolerant attitudes were identified as hidden antagonism, awareness, and critical dialogue. Special attention is paid to transforming negative attitudes into acceptance and empathetic understanding. Tolerance indicates a mature personality and contributes to healing relationships in counseling settings. The psychological essence of tolerance is defined as readiness to perceive others through critical dialogue, forming the basis for constructive interactions.
