The Application Value of Gastric Ultrasonography in Patients with Functional Dyspepsia

Functional dyspepsia (FD) is defined as the presence of dyspeptic symptoms in the absence of any structural abnormalities that can explain these symptoms. Ultrasonography (US), as a non-invasive imaging modality, can be utilized to assess gastric function. This review aims to explore the role of ultrasonography in the classification of dyspeptic patients and the diagnosis of functional dyspepsia.
