A retrospective study on the prognosis of patients with small cell lung cancer with or without interstitial pneumonia treated with postoperative chemotherapy
The 3-year OS rate of patients with IP was comparable to that of without IP. Postoperative chemotherapy may be beneficial and tolerable by patients with SCLC, with or without IP. Further studies with larger cohorts are necessary to clarify the efficacy and safety of postoperative chemotherapy in patients with IP. This study was registered in the University Hospital Medical Information Network Clinical Trials Registry (UMIN ID 000051612).
