COMPARISON OF TRADITIONAL AND TELE-NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING
<ns3:p>This study aimed to assess the psychometric equivalence of traditional face-to-face and tele-neuropsychology methods in evaluating cognitive functions.Fifty-four participants (aged 18–26) underwent four neuropsychological tests: Boston Naming and Verbal Fluency (language), Digit Span (memory), and Stroop Effect (executive functions).Statistical analysis showed no significant performance differences between the groups (p > .05), with homogeneity in participant characteristics (p > .05). The Mann-Whitney test further confirmed equivalence across both methods, supporting tele-neuropsychology as a valid alternative.Tele-neuropsychology offers advantages in cost efficiency, accessibility, and convenience, presenting a promising alternative to traditional assessments. However, further research is necessary to optimize its implementation in Indonesia, considering participant diversity, procedural design, technological factors, and individualized assessments.</ns3:p>
