Dynamics of the tone of the autonomic nervous system after manual therapy
The dynamics of vegetative tone was analyzed in 75 patients with neurological manifestations of the thoracic and lumbar spine after manual therapy. It was revealed that the change in vegetative tone in terms of heart rate variability correlates with its initial state (before the procedure of manual therapy). It was noted that in patients with initial sympathicotonia, after the procedure of manual therapy, a decrease in sympathetic activity occurred in 93.5% of cases. In patients with initially reduced sympathetic tone, its increase was detected in 56% of cases.
