ABSTRACT This article displays important notes collected through bibliographical research on ABA – Applied Behavior Analysis Method. This method has been acclaimed as one of the most successful methods aimed at treating autistic subjects. To build this discussion in this article, quotes from renowned authors such as B.F. When talking about the inclusion of children who have special educational needs in schools in the regular education network, it is understood that this is a controversial topic, especially when talking and remembering that, among such students there are those students with ASD or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), a disorder involving neurodevelopment marked by difficulties involving oral communication, social interaction and which also exhibits signs of repetitive and even stereotyped movements. Therefore, in this article, a consideration will be presented that will include the history of the ABA method, seeking to show its contributions to the learning method of autistic students, as well as its results in Education. To this end, an approach will be developed, discussing what can be done in the teaching method for autistic students while working with the ABA method. Keywords: ABA. Special education. Learning. Autism.
