Tapering 6LP few-mode fiber for multi-parameter sensing

We demonstrate effective mode field expansion in a 6LP few-mode fiber tapered to diameters as small as ≈1.2μm suitable for multi-parameter sensing. Experimental and simulated results are presented for such purposes.
