A New Multi-AS Convergent Capability Layer Network Strategy for Service and Capability Decoupled Architecture
The sip Application Server (AS) may be deployed to execute services in current IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network. In the traditional AS architecture, each sip AS is deployed independently, with influencing and impacting the sip session as well as the sip signaling, which is not conducive to exploit new sip AS. Also, the traditional AS architecture mostly suffers from consuming too much resource and causing considerable call connection delay. The AS architecture of service and capability decoupled has been introduced aimming to effectively solve the problem of rapid services iteration. However, repeated signaling handling and considerable call connection delay are still questions. In this paper, multi-AS Convergent Capability Layer (CCL) network strategy is proposed for the AS architecture of service and capability decoupled, to improve the overall network efficiency.
