Integrasi Nilai Nilai Humanis Dalam Kepemimpinan Pendidikan Islam Multikultural

This article explores the integration of humanistic values into Islamic educational leadership within multicultural contexts. Leadership in Islamic education is not merely an administrative function but a spiritual mandate aimed at developing moral character and honoring human dignity. Core humanistic values—such as empathy, justice, compassion (rahmah), and inclusivity—are intrinsic to Islamic teachings and should be actualized in leadership that embraces cultural, ethnic, and social diversity among learners. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach and literature-based analysis, this study highlights the characteristics of humanistic leadership in Islamic educational institutions, alongside the challenges in its implementation, including hierarchical cultures, low multicultural literacy, and an overemphasis on administrative targets. The study recommends curriculum reform for leadership training, fostering inclusive school cultures, and ethical modeling by leaders as strategic approaches. This research asserts that humanistic and multicultural Islamic educational leadership is not only a response to the human crisis in education but also a foundational pillar for building just, transformative, and civilizational educational institutions.
