Joint MLAT Master Positioning Methods and its Accuracy Analysis

At present, although the theoretical accuracy of civil aviation multipoint positioning system has been improved, the single reference master station has poor positioning accuracy under certain base station layouts, which limits its further improvement in sub-meter positioning accuracy. In this paper, from the perspective of multipoint positioning principle and fusion strategy, we constructed a multi-master station co-localization model, and explored the effects of master station orientation, master station spacing and other factors on the co-localization performance of master stations according to the fixed weights fusion method and dynamic weights fusion method. The dynamic weights fusion is better than the fixed weights fusion in reducing the localization error and has stronger dynamic adaptability. The simulation results show that the fixed weights fusion method and dynamic weights fusion method proposed in this paper are effective in improving the localization performance.
