Interleaved Boost Converter Based on Coupled Inductors and Capacitor-Diode Voltage Doubler Unit
In order to further improve the gain capability of non-isolated DC-DC converters and reduce the voltage stress on switching devices, an interleaved Boost converter based on coupled inductors and a Direct Current (CD) voltage doubler unit is proposed. The proposed topology adopts an interleaved parallel connection of switching devices, combining the CD unit and a secondary coupled inductor unit to enhance voltage gain, reduce voltage stress, and minimize current ripple. Additionally, a passive clamp circuit is used to absorb and utilize leakage inductance energy. Finally, simulations and a 150W prototype experiment are conducted to verify the effectiveness of our solution.
