AoI-Based Delay Analysis of PLC Relay Metering Network
Power line communication (PLC) is widely used in metering communication networks, and it is necessary to solve the problem of delay performance analysis under relay conditions. Therefore, aiming at the power line communication metering network based on multi-hop relay, this paper establishes the power line multi-hop relay model based on lognormal distribution fading. Taking two-hop relay model as an example, the closed expression of the average age of information (AAoI) of the system under automatic retransmission is derived by using M/G/1 queuing system and P-K formula. Monte Carlo simulation is used to verify the validity and reliability of the system model, and the effects of distance between nodes and arrival rate on the age of information performance are compared and analyzed. It provides theoretical and technical support for practical application.
