A Modeling Method for Coherent Synthesis of Transmitted Signals in Distributed Radar Systems
This study investigates the impact of the array geometry of Distributed Coherent Aperture Radar (DCAR) on the spatial distribution of coherent signal synthesis. A modeling method for DCAR transmitted signal coherent synthesis is proposed, providing an analytical tool for examining the relationship between the array geometry of DCAR and the characteristics of signal coherent synthesis. Using a uniform circular array as an example, simulations are conducted to explore the influence of different array spacings and the number of radar units on transmitted signal coherent synthesis. The results indicate that array spacing affects the size of the main lobe and grating lobes in the synthesized region, while the number of radar units primarily influences the shape of the grating lobes. This modeling method is of significant importance for optimizing DCAR array structures and improving the coherent transmission performance of transmitted signals.
