A Novel Approach to Liveness Detection: Real-time Eye Blink, Head Movement, and Lip Movement Analysis
In recent years, biometric security systems have gained significant attention as a means of enhancing security in various domains, including immigration services, military operations, and healthcare monitoring. This paper introduces a novel dynamic biometric system that leverages real-time facial features, such as eye blinking, lip movement, and head rotation, to verify a person’s physical presence. By analyzing the dynamic cues, the system aims to enhance security and prevent spoofing attacks, which are common vulnerabilities in traditional static biometric systems. This research explores the challenges of real-time implementation and seeks to establish a robust and reliable solution for various security applications. After implementation, the system’s performance has been evaluated based on accuracy, processing speed, and its ability to differentiate between genuine and spoofed actions.
