Application of Visible Light Artificial Intelligence Recognition and Millimeter Wave Radar Ranging Technology in Transmission Line Monitoring

In response to the urgent need for monitoring transmission lines, an innovative fusion of millimeter wave radar and visible light image recognition has been adopted to achieve front-end recognition of invading objects in transmission line corridors and measurement of the minimum gap between transmission lines. By using millimeter wave radar scanning and ranging, combined with visible light image recognition, sub meter level accuracy distance recognition can be achieved for the front-end hidden dangers of the 700 meter long and 80 meter wide transmission line corridor and its surrounding areas, effectively identifying potential external intrusion hazards, reducing the false alarm rate of transmission line monitoring alarms, and more efficiently ensuring the safety of transmission lines.
