Analysis of Technical Parameters of Small Neutral Reactors for Three Main Transformers in 500kV Jinzhou Substation
In order to cope with the potential risks in the operation of the main transformer of 500 kV Jinzhou Substation, it is planned to install a reactor in the main transformer neutral point. In this paper, using the EMTP (Electro - Magnetic Transients Program) electromagnetic transient simulation program, the over-voltage and insulation coordination are studied by installing a small reactor in the main transformer neutral point in order to determine the technical parameter selection scheme of the main transformer refitted with small reactance equipment and other targeted improvement measures are also proposed, strive to reduce the risk of zero-sequence protection action in the 500 kV Jinzhou Substation's main transformer common winding, improve the opening capacity of zero-sequence voltage for failure protection and effectively limit the short-circuit current level, earnestly ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of the power system.
