PV Based Smart Villages for Sustainable Living in Coastal Region of West Bengal
Solar panels are essential for harnessing solar energy. However, a single panel cannot generate a significant amount of power unless combined in parallel or series configurations, which can be space-consuming. By increasing the number of solar panels, we can meet the growing demand for electricity. To maintain the power system's functionality, it is necessary to connect individual batteries in both series and parallel arrangements, ensuring appropriate voltage and electric flow levels. Proper inverter ratings are also important. Safety is paramount, requiring the installation of rated fuses and sufficient component isolation. Since batteries and inverters generate heat during operation, they must be placed in well-ventilated areas. Solar panels should be installed in locations situated coastal area of West Bengal named G-Plot under the Pathar Pratima Block of extended part of Sundarban with ample sunlight.
