“Awareness of Side Effects of Application of HR Analytics"

Abstract This research delves into the ethical dilemmas linked to the use of analytics in Human Resource (HR) practices, with a spotlight on concerns such as data privacy breaches, algorithmic bias, and the potential for discriminatory outcomes. As data becomes increasingly central to HR decision-making, questions arise about the fairness, integrity, and transparency of these systems. This study assesses how aware HR professionals are of these ethical concerns and how well-prepared they are to address them. Using a structured, quantitative survey approach, responses from selected HR leaders were analyzed. The results underscore a clear need for improved ethical training, the development of stronger data governance policies, and the integration of transparent, accountable algorithms to ensure that employee rights are respected and protected.
