A Comprehensive guide to economic emission dispatch in wind-fossil-fuel power systems using Gold rush optimizer
For Economic load-dispatch (ELD) in this article, we will introduce a new population-based metaheuristic algorithm approach named Gold rush optimizer (GRO) based on how gold-seekers prospected for gold during the gold rush Era. Nonlinear characteristics of a generator, such as valve point continuity, are considered in the issue. The GRO algorithm is a dependable and effective solution for nonlinear ELD issues. The proposed technique has been built and evaluated in four test systems. The results confirm the suggested algorithm’s potential and effectiveness when compared to other approaches available in the literature. The results are quite encouraging, demonstrating that GRO is an extremely successful optimization strategy for solving a variety of ELD problems.
