Research on MPPT Control Strategy for Photovoltaic Integration into Traction Power Supply Systems
Amidst the swift expansion of electrified railway networks, the proportion of railway energy consumption in overall power usage has gradually increased. Integrating clean energy sources such as photovoltaic (PV) systems into traction power supply systems has become a significant trend in the development of electrified railways. In the integration of PV systems into traction power supply systems, paying attention to energy transmission efficiency is critical. Therefore, photovoltaic cells necessitate the application of control techniques for achieving maximum power point tracking (MPPT), Factoring in how environmental variables affect the power generation of photovoltaic systems, this paper proposes a Simulated Annealing Perturb and Observe (SA-P&O) method, an MPPT control algorithm that combines the Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithm with the Perturb and Observe (P&O) method. This approach enables rapid localization of the maximum power point while avoiding being trapped in local optima.
