Health Status Evaluation of Aeronautical Electromagnetic Relays Based on Improved Analytic Hierarchy Process
Relay plays a crucial role in aircraft control and electrical systems, serving as pivotal control devices for aircraft throttle boosters. Ensuring its safe and stable operation is essential for the orderly functioning of airborne equipment. To detect early degradation faults in aeronautical electromagnetic relay (AMER) and evaluate its operational state, a health evaluation method is proposed in this paper. Initially, the operational principle and degradation characteristic parameters of AMER are analyzed. A comprehensive life test platform is then established to collect and characterize the operational parameters of AMER. Subsequently, through data analysis, a multi-level evaluation index for AMER is determined, and a health evaluation model based on an improved analytic hierarchy process is developed. Finally, the proposed evaluation model is applied to assess the health of AMER. Comparative analysis with actual health statuses confirms the effectiveness of this method in evaluating the health status of AMER.
