China-U.S. Relations and Cybersecurity: A Study of Bilateral Cyberattack Patterns Based on Big Data Analysis
This paper explores the dynamics of China-U.S. relations in cyberspace, with a focus on the competition and cooperation between the two countries in the era of big data. As two major cyber powers, China and the United States engage in a complex interaction within cyberspace, influencing global cybersecurity, geopolitics, and economic trends. The study utilizes big data analysis to examine the characteristics and trends of cyberattacks, specifically focusing on the bilateral cyberattack patterns between China and the U.S. The research analyzes data from 2017 to 2024, including policy scores, policy effectiveness, and cybercrime rates, to predict the occurrence and severity of future cyberattacks. The findings emphasize the critical role of cybersecurity policy in shaping cyberattack trends and provide a deeper understanding of how policy changes affect cyber threat landscapes. Furthermore, the paper discusses the importance of China-U.S. cooperation in cyberspace, particularly in the context of big data technologies, to enhance mutual understanding and global cybersecurity governance. By utilizing big data and predictive models, the study provides valuable insights into the strategies that both nations can employ to mitigate cyber risks and promote a secure digital future.
